Following the invitation of Artur Żmijewski, curator of the 7th Berlin Biennale for Contemporary Art, the European Roma Cultural Foundation - ERCF consulted with its Curatorial Board on November 16, 2011 and made the decision to curate a comprehensive archive: theromanielders.org. The Elders and ERCF decided that the first public appearance of ‘The Romani Elders’ will take place on June 2, 2012, from 15:00-17:00, in the framework of the 7^th Berlin Biennale for the utmost important issue of the ‘Memorial for Murdered Sinti and Roma during the National Socialist Regime’.
